Channel Partnership extended to cover Astrium’s new satellite resources
Astrium Services’ GEO-Information and Compass Informatics have extended their partnership to SPOT 6-7 satellite imagery. Users in Ireland and Europe can consequently resort to an additional source for accessing Astrium’s substantial portfolio of optical and radar satellite data, as well as derived value-added products.
With privileged access to a unique satellite fleet now comprising the SPOT 5 and 6 optical satellites family, the very-high-resolution Pléiades constellation, and the TerraSAR-X / Tandem-X radar satellites, Astrium and Compass Informatics can offer daily coverage worldwide as well as weather-independent acquisitions, at a variety of resolutions. Based on this data, a substantial portfolio of geo-information products and services as well as customized solutions is available to Compass Informatics’ customers.
The contract enables Compass Informatics to sell Astrium’s complete data and value-added services portfolio to users throughout Ireland. With this agreement, Compass Informatics is part of Astrium’s global geo-information services Channel Partner Network.
